A brilliant juvenile himself, Tiger Of Malay was a pre-Christmas debut winner before capturing the $1 million BRC Sires' Produce Stakesas a two-year-old and placing in the Gr.1 JJ Atkins. He later trained on to win the stallion-making Up And Coming Stakes carrying a remarkable 61kg, underlining his class.

Now making his mark at stud, Tiger Of Malay has quickly emerged as a highly promising young sire, finishing 2nd on the Australian First Season Sires’ Table by earnings, with early performers including stakes-placed Momentslikethese and the talented Tigroni, who has already earned over $420,000.

The filly is out of Distraught, a two-year-old winner over 1200m and half-sister to Listed juvenile winner Alucinari. The family continues to produce quality performers, including Liquor, winner of the Listed Goldmarket Handicap at our home track here on the Gold Coast.

Purchased from Glenlogan Park for $50,000, this filly represents a precocious and proven pedigree, and physically she looks every bit the racehorse.
