Statement of Truth Gets the Job Done at Beaudesert

Shailer Racing owners were rewarded with a well-deserved win at Beaudesert, with Statement of Truth producing a strong and confident performance to score under jockey Dylan Turner.

Heading into the race, Statement of Truth hadn’t had much luck with barriers across several options during the week, but the team landed on what looked the right race to give him every chance - and he delivered.

Jumping cleanly from barrier 7, he began well and quickly found himself outside the leader. Despite racing without cover through the middle stages, he travelled comfortably and always looked in control.

Turning for home, it was clear he was travelling better than the main danger, and he sustained a strong gallop all the way to the line to win comfortably.

It was a really pleasing effort and a great confidence boost for the horse, particularly given he had taken good improvement from his resuming run.
