Hey Daisy Too Strong!

Shailer Racing owners had plenty to smile about at Grafton, with Hey Daisy producing a confident and commanding win over the border. 

As expected, Hey Daisy proved a class above her rivals. Although she settled a pair further back than originally planned from a sticky draw of 7 of 11, she travelled sweetly throughout the run and always looked comfortable in the hands of jockey Dylan Turner.

When the pace eased mid-race, Dylan didn’t hesitate - riding Hey Daisy like the best horse in the race, and she showed exactly why. She cruised into contention, let down strongly, and quickly put the race to bed, pulling away to score by an impressive three lengths, eased down late.
